Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I choose Ray's Remodeling and Construction for my project?'

Because of my over 20 year experience and hands on personal work. I am a contractor who helps perform the work.

What sets Ray's Remodeling and Construction apart from other companies in the area?

The fact that I do more than just make phone calls.

What areas do you service?

All within about a 20 mile radius. Depending on the complexity and duration of the job of course.

What type of remodeling services do you provide?

We are a full-service remodeling company. Give us a call to learn more details about our services and see if we can help with your next project.

Do you offer free estimates? What all does that cover?

Yes, we offer free estimates. I usually meet to look and discuss the project then send a bid via email.

Are you licensed and insured?

Can you provide me with references?

Is it wiser to invest in a renovation or complete remodel? Is there a difference?

I consider a renovation and a remodel the same thing. When I look at projects, I try to help my customers get the most bang for their buck. If it is better on their pocket to do certain things compared to complete changes and they will get the same results, then that's the direction I try to steer them. Of course, it is ultimately up to them on what they want.

Why is hiring a professional remodeler worth the money?

Because remodeling is my livelihood. It's what I know and have been doing for over 20 years now. Remodeling has so many variables compared to new construction. Experience and the hands-on approach that I take is what sets us apart.

Can I stay in my home while it is being remodeled?

Yes. But everything gets worse before it gets better, and on a big remodel, like a complete kitchen tear down, it is impossible to control all dust and I can't help with the inconvenience. All I know is with the way me and my guys work I can complete projects in ½ the time of a contractor who isn't hands on like me.

When is the best time to remodel my home?

No real way to answer that. It's up to the customers schedule and the scope of work being performed.

Do I need any permits or documentation?

I am licensed to pull all permits needed.

Do you offer a warranty on your work?

Depends on the work and what we perform.
